TEENAGER SPECIFIC - DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER in DOREEN, Victoria

Lifestyle Centred Services is a client focused individualised disability service provider throughout Victoria and recognised for our extremely high level of service delivery to our clients. We specialise in supporting children/adults who have special needs/medical issues.
We are seeking a support worker in the Doreen area who has experience in the child care industry/disability or student nurse or equivalant experience or qualifications. The support worker will work with the child in the family home providing respite for the family. Specific training will be provided into the care needs of the teenager who has medical/health issues.
Mandatory:
Ability to commit for a minimum period of 12 months
Current, satisfactory police clearance (or prepared to complete on-line application through Lifestyle to obtain a satisfactory police clearance).
Level 2 First Aid (or prepared to obtain with the first 3 months of employment)
On-going shifts:
Friday 3pm-8pm (or every second Friday)
other shifts become available to cover other staff leave/sick leave
Desired Qualifications:
Qualifications and/or experience in Disability, Aged Care or could suit student nurse or equivalent, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy or qualified nurse (backed with hands-on experience).
You will be energetic, self-motivated, committed and reliable.
