DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER FOR TEENAGER in DOREEN, Victoria

Lifestyle Centred Services are a highly qualified organisation who specialise in support children with special needs and focus on individualised support.
The position is based in the Doreen area and we are seeking a support worker who will provide respite to a teenager who has medical/health issues, in a wheelchair and dependant on others for her personal care. Training will be provided for the specific care needs of the child by specialised nurses.
Qualifications and Experience
You preferably will have a medical or child care background, ideal for student nurses or a child care worker and have had some experience in a caring role.
Desired Qualifications:
Certificate IV Disabilty, student or qualified nurse, child care worker.
You will be energetic, self-motivated, committed and reliable, outgoing who can engage with a teenager.
Shifts on-going
Tuesday am shift
Alternate Friday 3pm-8pm
and other shifts to cover sickness & staff holidays available

Manadory:
Committment to the program for a minimum of 12 months
Current, clear Police check (if you dont have a police check Lifestyle can obtain one on your behalf on-line)
Working with Children Check or prepared to obtain
Level 2 first aid or prepared to obtain
